He mentioned the elements, and I decided to teach my class based on the five gross elements: earth, water, fire, air, and ether. I explained a little bit of Tantric cosmology to my students (like I know what I'm talking about) and showed them the map of the cosmos, as understood by tantrikas.
I swear I did this in less than ten minutes.
And then we played with all the elemental qualities that can be found in the body.
For standing poses, we cultivated "earth" quality, steadiness, strength, support.
For twisting we cultivated "water" quality, juiciness, kidneys being full, connection to the back body and cleansing.
For "fire" we cultivated kundalini in the spine, and awareness of inner light and luminosity.
For "air" we cultivated shoulder opening and of course prana, the breath.
And honestly, for ether, we simply played with making consciousness and the inner body bigger and brighter than its boundaries.
And then everyone passed out, exhausted.
Later, in the evening, Andrew and I went to the grocery store and bought tons of food. We then came home and made nachos.
Yes, nachos.
They were transcendent.

I don't know if it's the massage I got Thursday, or the yoga I've been doing, but my pubic bone pain is MUCH, much better. I even took off my maternity support belt and haven't worn it since last night.
