On Election Day we took Bodhi to eat lunch at Zen, "Japanese Food Fast."
For dinner, he watched CNN and Comedy Central and ate pizza with Daddy and neighbors Adam and Zoe while Mommy taught yoga.
When Mommy came home around 9 pm they announced Barack Obama had been elected our next president.
The entire universe and all of human consciousness seemed to move out a tight place of constriction into vast expansiveness and freedom.
I know this pulsation will continue, but I also know that within the darkness, the constriction, the fear, there is always light. There is always opening. There is always hope.
